August, 2011: The second year of a new masters degree course in NATM tunnelling is soon to begin in Austria. Professor Robert Galler, Chair of Subsurface Engineering at the Mining University at Leoben in Austria describes how he, with co-chair Professor Wulf Schubert of the Technical University of Graz, have combined their resources to offer the two-year course specifically in the field of NATM engineering and construction.
