Increased productivity, safety, and lower total costs of ownership are part of upgrades and new options introduced by Epiroc on its Meyco ME3 concrete spraying machines.
Updates are designed to increase the flow of concrete with less pulsation and a new turret makes the boom base more robust, durable and longer lasting. The new Meyco ME3 Mark 2 is also equipped with the Certiq equipment information telematics system by Epiroc that supports operation and functions of the machine.
“These improvements will lift concrete spraying to a higher level,” said Brandi Kossub, Global Product Manager at Epiroc. “We work closely with our customers on site to know what they need and want in the machines and this hands-on experience makes a difference.”
The Meyco shotcrete spraying machines are part of the Epiroc range of drill rigs and rock excavation and construction equipment and tools. Since June 2018, when the rock drilling and excavation division of Atlas Copco Group was split off to become the independent entity Epiroc, the company has reestablished its brand and presence in more than 150 countries and has more than 14,000 employees. Based in Stockholm and listed on the Stockholm stock exchange, the company had revenues of SEK 38 billion in 2018.
