- With 13 offices worldwide, RIZZO employs 300+ engineers, about 130 of which work out of the new Pittsburgh headquarters. Between 2008 and 2009, RIZZO had active projects in 20 countries including the UAE, the UK, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, India, South Africa, Australia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Honduras, China, Kenya, Madagascar, Armenia, Romania, Switzerland and, of course, the United States where it worked on monitoring programs for the North Shore Connector LRT project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and performed a portion of the geotechnical investigation program for the Second Avenue Subway tunnel project in New York City. Launching RIZZO into its 26th year of practice, the move allows office efficiencies. "We now have a first class headquarters which gives RIZZO plenty of room to continue to grow," said Owner and President Dr. Paul Rizzo. "Our corporate strategy has been a continuous and unwavering commitment to our core focus markets - specifically dams and hydropower, and commercial nuclear plant development - with increased geographic diversification to areas such as Latin America, the Middle East, Australia and Europe. This commitment is reflected in the fact that RIZZO has been outperforming companies twice our size."
