Purchase agreements have been signed by MBCC to acquire Germany based TPH Bausysteme and Australia based Bluey Technologies. Acquisition of TPH will add to its portfolio in acrylates and polyurethanes for ground consolidation and water control solutions while Bluey will enlarge its portfolio of construction chemicals and services for the infrastructure market.
TPH supplies products and systems for injection technology, joint sealing and bonding, concrete renovation and surface protection. It has customers in 50 countries with headquarters in Norderstedt, Germany, and warehouses and sales offices in Europe and Asia. “TPH complements our investments in the construction materials industry,” said Dr Jochen Fabritius, CEO of MBCC Group. “With this step, we can significantly expand TPH capabilities within the MBCC Group," said Goetz Tintelnot, CEO of TPH Bausysteme.
Based in Sydney, Australia, Bluey Technologies provides design and engineering services and related products to the civil construction industry across Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and Europe. Its extensive range of products includes engineered, high-performance cements, waterproofing products and ground improvement solutions used in critical applications for transport and civil infrastructure projects. It was awarded the Most Innovative Company by The Australian Financial Review in 2020.
