MAT Mixing Plant Technology has been delivering mixing and separation technology for more than 25 years. Since April 1, 2018, MAT has been incorporated into Bauer Machinery GmbH under the new name Bauer MAT Slurry Handling Systems.
"We are merging with the group, and this will be reflected in our name. We are repositioning ourselves, together with Bauer," said Alexander Konz, branch manager at MAT. The company plans a future strategy to include strong growth in international markets and significant expansion of the company's tunneling business.
Bauer MAT Slurry Handling Systems also plans to expand its core business supplying equipment for specialist foundation engineering and tunneling projects, increase its sales and service network, and realize the full potential of local markets in the future.
“Bauer has production and sales locations in numerous countries around the world. I'm confident that both our customers and employees will benefit further from our increased collaboration," said Alexander Konz.
The company has a new logo and web address.
Bauer Machinery has a number of subsidiaries, designs and builds large-diameter drilling rigs, duty-cycle cranes, trench cutters, grabs and vibrators and related tooling at its plants in Schrobenhausen, Aresing and Edelshausen. The subsidiaries manufacture mixing and separation equipment and rotary drive systems and equipment for drilling small-diameter boreholes and wells.
The group also operates manufacturing facilities in the USA, Russia, China, Malaysia, Italy, Singapore and Turkey and operates a global sales and service network.
