Stronger presence in water well drilling 14 Feb 2019

To further strengthen its presence in water well drilling, the U.S. branch of Swedish firm Epiroc has acquired the assets of Noland Drilling Equipment, a U.S. distributor of water well drilling equipment and related parts, services and consumables. It is based in Roanoke, Virginia, United States but operates in several south-eastern states. It has eight employees.

“This acquisition will increase our presence within water well drilling in this important region,” said Helena Hedblom, Epiroc Senior Executive Vice President Mining and Infrastructure. “We welcome the solid team at Noland Drilling Equipment to Epiroc.”

Noland Drilling Equipment becomes part of the Mining and Rock Excavation Service division which provides a complete range of services including spare parts supply, professional service, support solutions and training. It has distribution centers in China, Sweden and the United States, and is based in Sweden.
