CIFA USA + Marcotte robotic shotcrete sprayers Jan 2010
- CIFA USA, Inc. has partnered with Marcotte Mining Machinery Services of Sudbury, Ontario, for development of a new line of heavy-duty robotic shotcrete sprayers.Under the agreement CIFA concrete pumps will be added to Marcotte spray units to offer a new wet-mix shotcreting unit.
- Established in 1979, Marcotte (CIFA or Marcotte?) has more than 35,000ft2 of manufacturing space. As a commitment to quality and service, the company's production facility is registered to ISO9001:2008 by QMI, and all welding during manufacturing process is controlled to CWB, CSA standards W47.1.

- Marcotte shotcrete sprayers are renowned for their high durability for use in industrial and mining applications. "We selected CIFA for its outstanding quality and workmanship when we were comparing other pumping component groups for our new line of wet-process shotcrete sprayers," says Denis Rienguette, General Manager of Marcotte. "The overall design and serviceability of CIFA's pump units is a winning combination. Marcotte shotcrete sprayer units are in use in the harshest environments known in the mining industry worldwide. We cannot afford to be second best," adds Mr. Rienguette.

- Marcotte has been working with the CIFA management and product engineering department closely for more than a year, developing this partnership. The result of this cooperation is the development of an advanced proprietary shotcrete sprayer system that aims to surpass any unit currently available.
- "We look forward to releasing this new unit equipped with the CIFA pump kit," says Bob Miller, Sales Manager at CIFA USA. "As our relationship with Marcotte grows, we foresee expanding our cooperation to the full CIFA product line in the Canadian regions."
- Recently, Marcotte was proud to announce that Ed Britt has joined the company to spearhead this new group of products. Ed, an industry veteran, has a long and respected history in Canadian underground mining and concrete construction. Ed will serve as shotcrete line manager and CIFA product line manager.
