BAUMA - What to expect from exhibitors
BAUMA - What to expect from exhibitors Feb 2010
Shani Wallis, TunnelTalk
Operator training and sessions for learning from the experiences of others are two themes that are sure to be highlighted by exhibitors at BAUMA this year. There is a serious shortage of young people joining the heavy civil engineering industries and this is hitting the international tunnelling industry particularly hard. Exhibitors are planning to stage seminars and tutorials on their stands to encourage wider promotion of tunnelling as a career and improve the skills of the workforce. This is a serious undertaking that is bound to be well received by the visitors as they throng to see the latest developments by manufacturers and suppliers towards safer, more efficient tunnelling into the near future. Click on the stand numbers in the list to see the location of companies on the fair ground and click on the names to see the preview of what each company will be presenting.
