What price a piece of tunnel infrastructure? An answer may come when the UK government sells off its interests in the High Speed Rail link 1 from London to the Channel Tunnel and in the toll bridge/tunnel crossing of the Thames on London's M25 orbital motorway as a proposal to help pay, ironically, for another piece of tunnelled infrastructure, London's £16 billion Crossrail. |
