Arrowhead tunnels complete - TunnelCast

September 28, 2009: The $1.2 billion Inland Feeder project in Southern California was placed into fullscale operation marking the end of more than 12 years of construction. The Arrowhead Tunnels are a vital element of the 44 mile (71km) water conveyance system extending from the termination of the State Water Project in San Bernardino to the Colorado River Aqueduct.
