Efforts in Sydney to advance multi billion dollar underground mega-projects towards early construction will save money in the long term. Seven years ago the UK abandoned a tunnel under the World Heritage Site at Stonehenge on cost grounds; reviving it now is set to cost £1 billion, almost double the 2007 price.
